PaprPlain vs Zoho Creator

Zoho Creator is a platform. PaprPlain is a finished workspace.

Zoho Creator is a platform you build on. PaprPlain is a finished workspace, built from your file.

The short answer

If you only read one part.

Creator is a platform somebody has to build on and look after. If what you have is an Excel Sheet and no time for a platform, PaprPlain reads that file, builds the workspace for you, and licenses the whole business rather than each person.

What Zoho Creator does was read from their own public pricing page on 17 September 2026. These things move — check theirs as well as ours before you decide.

Deciding

Why teams move across from Zoho Creator.

What changes when the workspace is built for you, rather than by you.

No developer, no partner

There is no scripting to learn. Stages and checks are set in plain words.

Working from your own records on day one

Bring your Excel Sheet and the workspace is built from it — your data, not a template.

One price for the whole business

From ₹599$7 a month, and ₹1,999$22 for up to ten people together.

Invoices without a second system

Raise tax invoices from the customers and orders you already keep, and see what is still owed.

And moving across is not a project.

  • Bring the file — including anything you export out of Zoho Creator.
  • Check what it built — it asks only where your data could mean two things.
  • Invite your team, each with the role they should have.

Questions

Frequently asked

Which is better for a small business — Zoho Creator or PaprPlain?

It turns on one question: is there somebody who will build and look after the app? For most businesses of five to twenty people there is not, and a platform becomes a half-built app nobody owns. PaprPlain builds the workspace out of the file you already keep, so there is nothing to maintain and nothing to learn. It starts at ₹599$7 a month for the whole business rather than per user.

Does PaprPlain do invoicing and tax like Zoho?

It issues invoices from your records: add the lines and tax, issue it and it is numbered in sequence and locked, then print it, save it as a PDF or send a link. Payments bring the balance down by themselves, and a mistake is cancelled with a numbered credit note. The books and tax filing stay with your accountant — any table exports to Excel for them.

Can I try PaprPlain without committing?

Yes. Every new workspace runs free for seven days, and new customers are set up on a half-hour call with their own file before they commit to anything. You will see your own records in it, not a demo dataset.

The other comparisons

See it against your own numbers, not Zoho Creator's demo.

Send us the file you keep today. On a half-hour call we build your workspace out of it and you decide from there — 7 days free, nothing to install.
